Today I run pobocek.dev — helping businesses across the EU turn ideas into production-ready web apps and Web3 solutions, from MVPs to full-scale platforms.
I build custom web applications, intranets, and e-commerce platforms for SME clients across the full stack — React, Node.js, .NET, and Apollo GraphQL. I also ship my own SaaS: Eviro — automating review collection so happy customers become 5-star ratings on autopilot.
A decade of production experience across fintech, real estate, and B2B means fewer surprises, faster delivery, and code that still makes sense in year three.

Most businesses don't need a chatbot — they need AI wired into the workflow where it quietly saves hours every week.
Reply drafts, review responses, intake forms that pre-qualify leads — all tuned to your tone of voice.
Search your own docs, contracts, and tickets with natural-language queries. Cited answers, not hallucinations.
Automate the multi-step stuff — scheduling, approvals, report generation — with graceful fallbacks when the AI is unsure.
I'll tell you straight when an off-the-shelf tool beats a custom build, and where building pays back.
Since I was a kid, I've always been around computers — playing games, repairing them, or occasionally smashing them when the opponent team killed me in Counter-Strike.
One memory sums up my childhood. I had a PC on the kitchen table (we were redecorating), plugged in and running CS 1.6, while my dad assembled an IKEA wardrobe and my phone rang.
The lads invited me out to play football. I politely declined. Seconds later I threw a grenade in-game, my speakers bellowed "FIRE IN THE HOLE", and I hung up as fast as I could. I tried football, cycling, gym, airsoft — but the PC stayed #1.
I studied at the Secondary School of Electrical Engineering, K. Adlera, in Bratislava-Dubravka. That's where my programming journey started, while I competed in regional CS 1.6 tournaments.
I picked Computer Systems. The theoretical foundations (algebra, algorithms, C++, building things) combined with hands-on work became a great head-start for my career.
Some of what I accomplished there:
<
{ I chose the Faculty of Economic Informatics at the University of Economics in Bratislava. Statistics, maths, and coding in one degree — a dream scenario.
In C programming classes I was ahead of my peers thanks to my secondary school. Professor Ľubomír Turňa, RNDr., CSc. noticed and invited me to co-author a paper at the International Scientific Conference for eLearning. The nerves before the conference were real — but we made it.
Two days after graduating I joined CRIF as a Backend Engineer in .NET — building credit-register and data-pooling systems for international markets. Oracle databases, stored procedures, business processes, unit and integration tests.
After CRIF I moved into freelance — taking on full-stack projects for clients across Slovakia and beyond, building web apps, intranets, and e-commerce platforms under the Applance Solutions brand, later rebranded to pobocek.dev.
I completed a Solidity bootcamp in early 2023 and went deep on smart contract development — writing, testing, and auditing contracts for EVM-compatible chains.
Since then I've integrated dApps into web frontends, worked with Web3.js and ethers.js, and consulted on token contract architecture.
Web3 is now a native part of the pobocek.dev offering alongside the full-stack web work.
